the world is oh so tiny and i oh so love it!
it's crazy how much more accessible and connected we are to everyone. before we wouldn't know how to get in touch with people we didn't know, yet admired. an artist was completely out of bounds for us. well, here and there i find myself in awe because nowadays, when we write, they do reply, and yes, we really are just all human beings in the same world. i've been bold and had the initiative to write people i don't know but admire and that is how i've participated in blogs like bem legaus or the weekly b-coolt. (random emails from me to the authors of those respectively) i've also been taught that compliments are never to be kept to yourself so i've emailed and gotten sweet replies from artists like alberto cerriteƱo and innovation specialists here and there. the world has become smaller.
recently, an artist whose work i saw and posted about back in the day, buenos aires 2006, just ran into my blog and yes, has left a comment. thank you, marcela for being human and humble and connecting. i do in fact love contributing to making the world a smaller place and take every opportunity at it.
so here is marcela sinclair's website and art. make sure you check it out!
