inspired by marcela sinclair's work that i saw at fundación proa in buenos aires (a while ago) i started my own upside down skyline here. its' nice to do something productive even with such a small space. i took photographs and drew the skyline outside my balcony. flipped and painted them in brown. for some reason, the paint is very washy so it's not working but i'll get there. this is a good 1st step. i find that it's fun to identify the buildings upside down and i'm not the only one puzzling over them. 
i'm also fond of the abstractness of the photograph on this post. it almost makes no sense.

Marcela Sinclair, por su parte, con su obra “Crecida” pinta con esmalte negro el paisaje que se ve sobre el límite visual que establece el muro de la terraza. Genera un juego entre el positivo y el negativo de la imagen. El paisaje de la Vuelta de Rocha se reintroduce pero invertido, es más bien su reflejo o su sombra.
