:: imperfections actually make things real ::

i will quote because it is already well described as soon as you open the website, but click here for the link very worth sharing.
"this is a picture book about the moment in a relationship when you realise you don't love someone completely, because there is one little thing that keeps bother you. when it bothers you so much it actually makes you physically cringe, you know it's time to say; 'i love you but...'
i like the drawings especially because they're not realistic because no one is "realistic" like a photograph. we are not what we seem to be and photography will never be the accurate portrait because no one can me summarized in one click. (can they?)
and here's a question: is there a love that loves someone completely? isn't that as unreal as a portrait photo trying to be accurate?
i like the unreal reality, it definitely works for me. i keep running into the idea that reality is not what photographs portray. reality is askew. am i being too obvious? i like the "i love you but..." website because the reality portrayed is more real than what we think of when we say the word "real." so it's even truer. i'm entering a maze here. but reality IS quirky and crooked and biased and subjective, despite that not being sold by the mass/popular media, tv and magazines for example. i have to keep reminding myself what reality in the true sense of the word really is. this website helps. ;)
