i met and fell in love with the most beautiful baby of all times. this girl is unbelievable. helena is the daughter of one of the people that know me the longest. laura and i met when we were 4 yrs old and we've gone our separate ways, back and forth, and now we're both living in the same city and with similar interests again. this time, it's not cartwheeling on the grass or rollerskating. laura's an architect that appreciates design and just amazed me with her daughter and relationship with her husband. of course, i knew helena before but she's now in the interactive phase (hitting the 8 months mark) and i'm just completely in awe and i think about them a lot. 100% of the time that i was at their house, laura's and her husband's, fausto's, helena was giggles and smiles and dancing "happy feet" style as fausto calls it. this is the happiest baby i've ever met. and of course, up next is the question: nature x nurture. we were discussing it among the 3 of us as well and yes, they are blessed but they have a slightly different, more mature approach. maturity is key here. a lot based on common sense and the couple being a bit older (30 or above), they do realize what's important and what's not. they see the tree as well as the forest. the root, no pun intended, of helena being so happy is her environment. the parents get along extremely well, none of it is fake, they agree to disagree when a problem comes up.
this is a b e a u t i f u l situation. i'm so in love with all of this. thank u so much for showing me a situation where a person works towards something by putting effort in it, and yes, they do, in fact, become happier. is this a hasty conclusion? am i becoming more positive as days go by and my surroundings are affecting me greatly? am i more sensitive to such environments or are the environments closer? as always, which came first the chicken or the egg? (very accurately translated to "qual serĂ¡ o segredo de tostines?")
