some thoughts on secundino hernandez:
illustrative at times. cy twombly with more explosion. spastic, yet comfortable. moments with line and color and 3d... like the beginning of thoughts that never got concluded but already feel final somehow. very graphic and aesthetically oriented.
definitely draws attention and you get a bit submerged and sometimes lost in it. i wanna see and remember all the details but as soon as i get involved with another part, i want to check if my memory is correct. personally, it's hard to see the whole picture. the details are too interesting to diverge from. maybe feels like what a younger cy twombly would feel like? somehow, i feel twombly connects more and more profoundly with his artworks.
keeps me wondering and daydreaming though. and definitely with a feel to draw again. more. more often.
