:: you gotta start somewhere ::

funny how we show more about ourselves unconsciously, rather than consciously. didn't mean to find a picture of a beautiful house that's all closed up but that is the image that attracts me the most right now... ...
been reading up a bit, for mostly entertainment purposes, what is friendship, why do we love, how effective is non-verbal communication, are men and women's roles in society changing; all from how stuff works.
ironically, though, i've been thinking more about intimacy, rather than love. before love, to me, what is important is intimacy. the whole cliche of silence is golden, because being with someone and being quiet together (which i love) is intimate. being able to be yourself around someone is intimate. saying the truths that no one is comfortable hearing is intimate. admiting your flaws is intimate. making a mistake and laughing about it, as stupid as the mistake was, is intimate. intimacy is honest and sincere. intimacy is judgment-free. you can be fragile and feel safe when you're intimate. intimacy is having an unspoken language between you.
i see this is all very related to trust. hm...

all of a sudden, i see the picture on the post and i really want to open the windows and the doors of the blue house.
and i notice, the gate is open.
that's a start, right?
