i might have even already posted this picture here but it's just so beautiful. i love the light, the armchair, the colors and the cat. so i'm doing a post bac in furniture design and i'm beyond excited. the fact that you can get a few pieces of wood (or other materials) and make them into armchairs, stools, benches, chairs; it's just fantastic. as a friend of mine from work would put it: "sensational." so for our 1st assignment we have to pick and dissect a piece of furniture. well, in my opinion, nothing better than ikea's poang. the more i discover, the more i want to discover. the more i know, the more i want to know. although that logic is not logic, i truly believe in it. works for me. so as i go, i'll post here my discoveries about the poang.
also will try to attend casa triângulo's opening of vânia mignone tomorrow and still go to some more art shows: gary hill at MIS, galeria luisa strina... we'll see how much i can accomplish, and no, this is not a challenge.
