here’s to another finding at zupi magazine (mentioned in last post) but this one has reverberated elsewhere and everywhere so i’m not giving zupi the only credit. again i also have to mention stumbleupon for thos of you who don’t know it, it’s a fantastic way to surf the big world wide web out there.
so among all my resources i’m beyond happy to say that i have found alberto cerriteño. again a lot of layering, textures and this time, a great color palette that has almost become his signature in my point of view. i see it as a very contemporary mexico. very worth checking out his site. other than that, a pleasant surprise: i, being the geek that i am, wrote alberto an email just to say that he has yet another fan and what a sweet surprise, i got an email back, completely unexpected. what a sweet person and yay for connecting with people that you wouldn’t’ve met otherwise if not for the internet.
i’m also thinking this has something to do with the two personalities: “i should do that” vs. “i did it.” a lot of shoulds in this world and when you do become a doer, things happen! the world answers back. ahh life is good.
