my sunday felt like it was 36 hours long, in a great way! what a great day. it was beyond productive, where you check everything off your list. a great spin on what is usually a slow strange limbo, aka sunday, day. went for a jog in the morning which is quite unusual but i've been picking up new habits. i like this. then, spent the day with a great friend with a very different lifestory but somehow, we coincide when it comes to core values and morals, decisions, choices, priorities and bookbinding! you know the situation where one friend pushes the other when all you needed was that last shove? a great coexistence day. ran errands together, hung out, were productive, went to places we wanted to go and didn't want. and in the end of the day, i still had time to get an early start on a different project and download nick park's collection of claymation. not bad.
i like this new habit idea. i heard it takes 23 days to change a habit. seems too mathematical, in my opinion. but i'll try either way. i've been inspired by friends that have taken up surfing (nb), lost the weight they needed (tt), maintained their diet (ll) and are going after their dreams (mz). i guess what this adds up to is that you are who you want to be. it is a choice to become the person you are. both comforting and daunting.
