i sharpened so many pencils yesterday that i have a beginning of a blister on one of my fingers. oh well... i've been watercoloring and drawing and it really is one of the best outlets. and to top it off, my cat, as cats are, will not leave me alone (in a good way) and makes sure his paw is sitting on something i'm using, whether it's the pencils or the paper. finally friday. this week took a while... but we do the best with what we got. life gives us lemons all the time, it's our job to make lemon tarts, jam, pies and keep our cool as we make them. also been thinking about being a boss and what makes a good boss. obviously, the ideal is where u teach things that go beyond your job. that would be ideal if i can do that one day... i'd be flattered if someone said they learned something about life from me.
more on my mind is cindy lauper's concert tonite that i'm attending, vacation that i'll be taking in a few days, a trip i'll be doing, a guest i'll be housing, a story i've been curious to write about, ... yea... i wish i could accomplish more things or better yet: i wish i wasn't so impatient/anxious.
