i'll warn u ahead of time that this will be a rather vague post. i've been keeping my promise (to myself) of talking less. i definitely like it. more introspective, if that is ever possible, and it is interesting to just sit back and watch. i feel like there r times to be more active (work has been beyond demanding recently) and there r times i allow myself to be egotistical and not participate. some people call it wisdom. hee hee.anyhow, been thinking about friends. friends in different countries with all its different meanings. friends in the US, friends in greece, friends in brasil... friends that u've shared millions of moments with so they're easy to relate to and be comfortable with. friends that teach u new ways of going about the city that u've already lived in and known for a total of 20 yrs. friends that value the same things u do but come from a completely different end of the world. friends that feel good to just sit and be silent with. friends that offer a shoulder to cry on. friends that come in waves and oscillate between being there and disappearing. friends that u're happy for. friends that u're jealous of. friends that keep in touch. friends that don't know how to use the phone (pra você, sheila). friends that i'll see at the end of the year. friends that i need to find to take care of my cat when i'm gone for a month. (anyone?? anyone?? buehler...? buehler?) friends that were once more than friends but now u just have no clue what u r to each other. friends i get giggly about. friends i miss.
