more on the napkin urban intervention... i already started placing them and as this picture above shows, i stuff my napkin-wishes in the middle of other napkin families. feels very good to be doing this. i'm proud and happy to say that one specific collector-friend liked it a lot and not only wanted them but also, will show them in his next exhibition in october. not only, but he pushed me as well, and was asking how we can do this so we can spread the napkins wherever the exhibitions are held. from now on, i will continue making my napkin-wishes. when a person chooses to buy one, they will buy their wish, so to speak. next number would be 06? so i'll give the buyer 100 blank napkins with the 100% stamp and the "06" stamp on them and the person has to follow the rules (stated in last post) and add their wish to the intervention. (and send me a copy!!) i'm loving this.
other than that, things also going well in other areas. job just got creative which feels instantaneously rewarding. i find it a bit odd, although a given, that some people really dislike it when others succeed, even if it does not in the slightest way affect them personally... interesting... yet again, there's me feeling like a fish out of the water in my own planet... and speaking of animals, there is a bird stuck in my water heater in my bathroom. the cat has triggered all its predator instincts so he meows at the water heater now. great. i feel bad for the bird and wish i could open the heater (i'll try tomorrow) and bring it inside to feed it, etc. my dad told me to stop with the nonsense. i really did mean it though. julie, a cat and their bird. great title for a book?
