kinda hard to write when you're so disappointed. a lot of good things on the personal art world and a great deception at work. oh well, no cliches intended but "that's life..." the bookbinding classes are going superbly well. my students are excited and producing in their own homes! on the same day they get home, they are making books! oh the joy! makes me happy since i love handbinding books so much. meditative traditional crafty and definitely immediate gratification. quality time. i've been embroidering words and then using the embroidered fabric as cover. today's word was "i'm sorry" and i'll give it to the person tomorrow. i think it's a definite heart to heart feeling guarantee. we'll see.
i must blurt/vent the disappointment at work and it's simply because although i do understand it logically, i simply do not get it, as so many other things. one month ago, when i was in a different job position, everyone was all smiles and hugs. now, i've been appointed and moved to a higher position and in my opinion, this only happens when the company thinks you're ready for it, therefore, we all deserve where we are (no?)... anyhow, the biggest disappointment is me being pathetically naive and believing someone's fakeness and catching one of my  subordinate's email that the person sent me, her boss, by mistake, thinking she was forwarding and bitching to a friend. how classy. not polite is the least i can say, but what the person wrote is pure envy. it doesn't even make sense logically. what a huge misunderstanding of a friendly approach to "bossdom." hm... here's she thinking my friendly approach is a passive i-don't-do-anything attitude, i-just-SEEM-to-be-working. wow. i feel like i could run some people over. metaphorically, don't get me wrong. but... but... isn't envy so last year??? i thought we were through that after 6th grade cheerleading tryouts... no? hm... i'm wrong again.
anyway, sad, but i'll have to keep an eye out and watch my back for sure, at work. that's not a friendly pleasant work environment i was going for... what a pity. and also, in the back of my head, how pointless... i cannot imagine living her life. wow.
at least all i gotta watch out for when i'm home are my plants. i should put a sign up: "beware of monster tiger feline plant-eating cutie pie!"
