been busy lately. i'm glad i noticed it and didn't exactly "hyperventilate." i usually go automatically on overdrive. i like this new, more realistic version of me. currently working on an art fair coming up in october, an art guerrilla-like movement spreading romance desires we've all felt but find hard to admit, as well as getting all the last details done like there was no life after tomorrow; in a good way. hanging those drawings i never thought i would, creating new stickers for the walls, seeing a seamstress to fix me up a dress for my brother's upcoming wedding... i guess now that i think about it, no wonder i'm tired. anyone seen inspiring artwork lately? i have this written by a friend rather recently and thought about posting it here. (thank u, m.o.)
"when something hasn't even materialized yet, we think of the possibility of it coming true, not coming true and its consequences for either chance. but let's leave our traumas, our fears and our anxieties aside and be ourselves. maybe less dreamer-like and more realistic, but ourselves. leave your anxiety and your logic aside and don't let the past take charge of your present. do u understand? don't give yourself fully, but say what u feel like saying." definitely a bit out of context here, but still, good advice in my opinion.
CURRENTLY ON NAPKIN
