some people ask why go to therapy. based on today's session, it is to not believe your ears when u actually confess your dreams and aspirations out loud. it's the stuff u know deep down, but are too afraid to mention. granted, there are risks involved, but why are we afraid to chase after our dreams? are you, like i am? somewhere i feel that it is bound to be successful when i get the courage to do it but also, i'm afraid. afraid of what? as my mom always puts it: what's the worst that can happen? too much risk? too vulnerable? i'll feel like a failure? do we still hit ourselves with a sledgehammer about failing even when we try our best? what if the result of my dream is just a regular "ok"? is that not ok? am i making a big deal out of nothing?
on the other side, what if i do become successful? what would success be, in practical terms?
i know, and apologize, i have not yet disclosed the dream here. it is a bit early and when it is for real, i am cautious. hopefully, one day, this idea will materialize and based on my singularity of character, it will work and y'all will have to come visit and see it for yourselves.
do u chase after your dreams? do u really, in all honesty? if u do, to me, u are magical and i love u already...
