sorry about that last post there. a tad on the heavy side. well, first - part of life... second - beautiful way of dealing, ian. not only do u agree w the fact that no, things might not work out in the end, but you're ok with that. as always, more than intelligent and great attitude. i'll learn. promise.
other than that, getting a warmer day on this side of the globe. went to the bakery this morning with a friend and to a gallery for an art show opening. for some reason, my friend and i were so intensively talking (always glad to know and talk to active thinkers) and my conclusion for the end of the day is that almost always, when u give someone else advice, it's somehow, selfishly, for u to hear it as well. does that work? i was listening to myself tell my friend to make decisions in her life and go with them. to try to achieve her dream but first, to know what her dreams are. to care about what SHE wants, specifically, instead of always doing what the next person over wants. i sounded bold and courageous. i'm not particularly saying that i'm not. but right this moment, i've been thinking about letting go of the rational shield we use in order not to get in touch with some difficult emotions. therefore, letting go of it, in a way, is a bold move. as i do this, though, i am finding out that i'm more scared than i thought i was, depending on the situation. thankfully, that feels alright. just feels pretty human, in my opinion.
(thank you for whoever is still reading my blog and participating... feels good to share thoughts)
