all photographs above are from today, the most beautiful setting: bright sunshine and heavy rain. the weather's been crazy here and it really makes me wonder about where the world's headed. i wonder if every generation thought about that as well. u know how history goes in circles... i wonder if when i'm old, i'll be saying "they don't make'em like they used to." that'd be funny.
i've also been thinking about blogging and how that feels. since i started posting, maybe it just feels like i "belong" and like i'm part of a bigger something (aka: blog within an internet or little human within a whole species), either way, it's nice to share thoughts and to hear back comments. definitely a sense that we're all the same somehow. hm... does having a blog make me less anxious? it does have to do with routine and it does feel like home and it's nice to hear from my roomies. OR maybe i'm just way too tired from a heavy week at work, intense with a huge massive research for the curator of the museum about land art and an opening last night, and i'm too tired to think. either way, i'm good and off to a great holiday of calmness and reading. (carnival in brasil and i go straight opposite of what i'm "supposed" to do. again, don't feel very brazilian. my brother went up north for carnival one time. i asked him how it was. his answer: "i smell like beer, sweat and piss and i'm loving it!" i guess it's a once in a lifetime thing. and i'm sure i won't be doing it this year...
