good morning and as always and again, thank u so much for reading and participating.
given new year, i've been thinking about changes. people always take the opportunity of a new year to change things in their lives, am i correct? isn't the calendar a human-made invention though? i should research. to prove my point though, i do believe that my cat couldn't care less what month and/or day of the week this is. either way, along with every human, i also get in the mood for changes when the year is brand new, clean slate, fresh white-piece-of-paper-like. so i've been doing changes in the house and there are two things that have mattered the most to me:
1) the palette of colors of the house (pictures above are from my cozy abode)
2) the specific function for everything (therefore i have abolished the dining table concept because i live alone and barely have friends over for food. as of yesterday, eating space has become work/art/craft/design space)
i guess this is all about knowing what u need and ensuring that your home is catered to u. for someone who has moved 4 continents in her life, home, incredibly enough, is not that hard to find. "home is where the heart is" translates to "home is the space that i'm currently living in". that is my conclusion. the world is small and we move around a lot and.. i wonder.. tangent: will we ever feel at home somewhere on the internet? i have become more comfortable blogging than i was when i started. maybe the more i blog, the more comfortable i'll feel and if home is comfort, maybe wow, i'm really pushing this too far: is my blog my cyberhome? (so then, to all my active readers and collaborators, are we all roomates?) anyways, i am glad to say that, despite moving around, i have found home, always find home and can easily build a home no matter where i am geographically.
