singing in front of people for the 1st time tomorrow. oooh... 400 people auditorium, whoah, at the são paulo museum of art (MASP). i'm not as anxious as i thought i'd be. there's only been 5 lessons formally and 3 rehearsals so far so i don't have that much ambition yet. it's a cool 1st step.
during rehearsal though, it was damn obvious that if you're gonna sing, you really have to wear your heart on your sleeve. singing shily and insecurely just doesn't do the trick. it is difficult and vulnerable though, to stand there, no mic, no nothing to lean on and just channel the air through your mouth and make notes with it. but, again, last night during rehearsal, something snapped and i gave it my all for a change. boy, did it work! hahahaha hopefully, i'll have the courage to do it again tomorrow!
