so finally i have been somewhat investing in a dream i've had for a while. baking and taking it seriously, haha. sounds like a dream, no? but i have wanted and dreamt about it, baking better, opening up a shop maybe one day, and you know what the best thing one can do about their dreams? just do them. that's it. that simple sometimes. or at least, take a first step. in my case, i bought food coloring, piping material, cupcake paper (hard to find here in brasil), and i've started baking more frequently. things are not exactly the way i want them to be but i'm happy with the process. sometimes the cupcakes are too dense, sometimes too airy. never enough frosting though! but the good part is that i'll keep on baking and making them colorful and fun to look at, experimenting and a good part too: eating them!
and for some reason, i make a connection between the cupcakes and my notebooks i make as well. see them on my flickr and if you can make sense out of the connection, please do tell me! haha...
