some odd looking shapes made by firecrackers at the wedding in italy. sweet.

i've been thinking about paris and cities and gardens and flowers, colors and são paulo. it is a matter of a certain quality of life. i realized that flowers and colors and simple details that i sometimes forget are important. i want more plants in my life. if it's flower bouquets at home more often or more plants and tiny gardens somewhere in my 15th floor apartment... whichever. são paulo is a grey concrete city. it doesn't hide quaint secrets around corners like paris does. no cobblestones, family owned shops, bookbinding stores, statues and fountains.
other than that, trying to feel like i'm on vacation despite it being simply a weekend. how do you tune out your work when you want to fully relax? meditation? how can i enjoy my city and apartment without having the usual somewhat-burden of day to day life barging in when it's a pure sunny saturday? any suggestions? i'm having a hard time not thinking about work lately...
