sometimes, we need help in seeing the love from other people. when we do see it though, it makes our lives, as well as others', easier. when we don't see the love they give us, most of the time, it's not on purpose. my family uses an expression that refers to a bucket. when your bucket is full, you feel warm and content and loved. well, sometimes, to use an analogy, we trip over the bucket because we're not self aware yet and we sabotage our own relations. and of course, that is the counterproductive part i mentioned earlier. we don't do it because we necessarily mean to. but our subconscious translates and misinterprets often. when we reach in there, and see it properly, we see the love, we see the bucket full of love. and i understand that now, and live a much happier life. the bucket is a constant and will not leak one single drop. i see that and translate it to the family's unconditional love. i like that i'm feeling/seeing it. i hope to keep it going, the constant bucket of love (haha), in a family i will too start/create/begin one day, aka legacy of love, according to my new term.
was that way too far out there? i didn't mean to be this abstract. just sharing a realization.
on a totally unrelated note: thinking about art and artist and curator and gallery owner and their respective roles. went to a gallery this saturday with a great friend, who happens to be a great artist. we went to an art show together and realized that the artist's works do depend/are related to the gallery owner. am i being naiive in thinking that it's the gallery owner's duty to push the artist forward? but then, isn't that why there are different galleries with different personalities and reputations? hm... i'll keep on thinking...
