ok. more pictures, less yapping. a few days passed since last post and thoughts are maturing. i'm thinking of my possibilites and how to turn my situation into an opportunity. feels so good so far and i'm keeping myself rooted and down to earth. i can accomplish whatever i want one step at a time. i don't have to go for the gold, make my dream come true completely and all at once. but i can definitely walk towards it.
now the question is (there's always gotta be a question in julie's world) is how much to risk? is it worth risking?
i've been reading up some underlined parts in books i've read in the past and the kick that keeps reappearing tells me, sort of, that if you're gonna do it, when's a better time than now? why wait to be happy when you can just do so actively instead of only plan on it? "o simples fato de se pressentir um destino mais favorável permite muitas vezes derrubar os muros que nos aprisionam." love it. (the simple fact of foreshadowing a more favorable destiny, a lot of times, allows the walls imprisoning that destiny to crumble.) "porque cada vida é única, rejeita e exclui outras." (because every life is unique, it rejects and excludes others.) "look at my face; my name is Might Have Been, i am also called No More, Too Late, Farewell." (last quote from dante gabriel rosseti. previous ones from pascal bruckner)
all telling me that life's right there in your face, it's up to you to grab it and do your best, because you don't get another chance. (in a positive angle) and in my head, even if i do it slowly, it's better than not having tried at all.
scary but some decision might be coming. some website, some bookmaking, some notebooks, some embroidery, some silkscreening, some tshirts, some classes, some wall stickers, some business cards... and hopefully, some commerce!
and PS: note there are 2 rainbows on the 2nd picture. thank you, world. that made my day.
