so glad that things turn out so much better than expected sometimes. it's been a week full of "shoulds" so i get a bit more tired faster. one of the shoulds is a course on "managing skills" that just really did open my eyes. i was ready to go to this exhaustive course (twice a week, 4 hrs each time, for 2 months!) expecting a lecturer to speak and get nowhere. they told me to take my HP12 calculator. ha. like i got one... (calculator = cell phone app) my employee is the one who offered the course and i believe i should at least attempt everything once, right?
well, surprise surprise, this was the fastest i've ever seen 4 hrs go by! it was extremely dynamic and exciting with immediate effects. the professor is great and is not a fan of rambling. definitely a doer, not a thinker. i'm looking forward for the next class.
also easier than what i expected, a trip to our municipal theatre downtown was also a lot easier and faster and simpler than what i thought.
considering all these now... do i make my life seem more complicated than it actually is? and if yes, why?
