the world is such a shitty place sometimes. i sometimes believe the good ones die young. makes everything seem so frugal and pointless. i'm in shock from news i heard about this person that died. aka - passed away. whatever.
feels so wrong that he should've died so young. and then i get lost in my thoughts... thinking that even though he was that young, he still left a mark. ... but it also makes me think about so many people who were somehow a part of my life who have died. my grandpa, a friend's brother, a childhood friend, another childhood friend, a coworker's mom, a pet, an old neighbor...
i try to be positive then and think about the babies and kids around me. coworker's daughter, cousin's twins, cousin's baby, friend's fantastic daughter, so many people having kids now actually. but yea...
no, it doesn't fill the other people's shoes. it doesn't comfort me at all. i can't believe M died. feels like the world is wrong, unfair and making mistakes.
"people are like mountains, difficult to move, often erupting and then they lie dormant making small bird sounds and breathing soft. and when they disappear, isn't it like the sierras getting up and walking away, and all we're left with is the valley, some wind, and the feeling that the landscape looks all wrong."
